The Prepared Dad Foundation was established in 2020 to address the often-overlooked challenges faced by first-time fathers during the transition to parenthood.
Inspired by the founder’s personal experience of a difficult and isolating journey into fatherhood, the foundation aims to empower dads with the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to thrive in their vital perinatal role.
The foundation’s mission is to create a movement that normalises and celebrates active father involvement during childbirth and across the perinatal period, fostering stronger families and healthier communities.
Central to this mission is the Prepared Dad Program, a revolutionary online education initiative that equips first-time fathers with practical tools, emotional preparation, and a sense of community.
Through three interactive, expert-led sessions, supported by access to recorded materials and an online peer network, dads gain insights into supporting their partners, bonding with their babies, and embracing fatherhood with confidence.
